Nati Phan is a current graduate student at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine working towards her Master of Science in Public Health in Environmental Health Science. Born and raised in San Francisco, Nati moved to New Orleans in 2016 to attend Tulane University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a strong focus on the natural sciences in her coursework. Nati has gained experience in research labs in the environmental health department throughout her time at Tulane, and her interests lie in addressing health disparities and threats to the environment. In particular, she has recently found a passion for GIS mapping to visualize public health data in order to address spatial inequalities.
